Deacon Chung Tran, C.Ss.R.
Deacon Chung Tran was born in Vietnam and came to the United States when he was 10 years-old. He grew up in Southern California, then moved to Seattle. He entered the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer in January of 2011. He completed a BA and Masters in business/finance at the University of Washington, and also completed a Masters in Divinity studies at the Catholic Theological Union, May 2017. He spend most of his life in the Pacific Northwest, and Seattle is his home. He has worked at the Metropolitan Tribunal of the Archdiocese of Chicago, and completed Clinical Pastoral Education work at Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. Currently, he's in the second half of his pastoral year as a member of the Redemptorist Evangelization Initiative.
